I voted as a teenager for Common Market Membership! Why ? Because we were told no membership no trade....
Is China in the EU? NO so why is the majority of trade with China in the EU?

@1957Rotu The highly positive parts of the EU were what was originally decided on in a referendum in the 70s, free trade, a single market. Since then the EU has changed into a bureaucratic, sinister mess which has far too much power, British laws should be decided by British people, accountable to the British electorate.

Is there a single video in existence in which Daniel Hannan praises an EU achievement. He never has a single positive word to say about the EU. No recognition, whatsoever, on his part that the EU played a crucial role in securing gender equality throughout much of the Single European Market. Is he so juandiced against the EU that he is incapable of seeing that it also has a highly positive side to its activities. And what about the Open Skies policy emanating from the EU and low price air fares?
