A very early beta of my first DIY MIDI-synthesizer. The keyboard is only used as a MIDI-controller/keyboard. The hardware is very simple; only a dsPIC33FJ64GP802 16-bit microcontroller, an OP-amp and an optocoupler (for MIDI). The software for the uC is written in C, and uses the built in 16-bit D/A-converter and DSP in the dsPIC.

  • It's awesome. Soon I'm starting my own dsPIC synthesizer and I was curious, if you would like to share some part of code? I want to code it myself, but I wouldn't mind to have a little help on sound synthesizing theory.

  • That's great work, the dspic's are great microcontrollers, regards :)
