I would have turned off comments a long time ago if I wasn't so amused by how ignorant and self-absorbed 80% of the posts are. Especially when it's painfully obvious how most of that 80% are from kids who just graduated from Boot or Basic and think they've actually done something worth bragging about. Spend a year or four in Iraq or A-stan (your pick), then come back and see if you honestly care how "hardcore" anyone's initial training was. Cause it isn't. Get over yourselves.

Wow the deaf. Change in our military. I was in in 90-96 and basic and m.o.s. (ait) had no difference. The DI's were on our ass up to our station orders in hand then even in dress we were dropped. Ah the good o'l days.
