Btw, I hope 10 year olds already were told (at school and at home) never to do drugs (including alcohol and cigarettes). Or there could be drug related issues in her family. So in that respect, it's not even sure the doesn't understand anything of the song.

Many people start young doing drugs. Warning them can hardly be done too early.

Actually, she's a lyric soprano. A tenor is a male singing voice. But you're right on "one of the most beautiful" part. Besides her magnificent voice, she's also one of the most giving, caring and humble individuals you'll ever come across.

I can see some of what Anne is saying, but also what you are saying Especially about the belters with bad technique...I don't know if you've ever seen a show like the Voice but some of the singers are really going to ruin their voices!

That's why I can see why some people would be concerned for one of the most beautiful sopranos! The vocal cords are delicate. I'll leave that up to her parents though, and enjoy Jackie. What is your favorite song by her? You seem to know a lot about her :)

It wouldn't matter anyway. there is more than one way to interpret a song and quite frankly, Jackie puts more passion behind her singing than some singers who wrote the songs in the first place.

Some people either don't get it, or have forgotten than music is about an emotional connection. Where that connection is made, or in what context it's made is irrelevant.
