I am a very proud one of the cold steel kukri. I use it when I go camping and at home. It is an amazing blade! If it ever came to it I would trust my life with it.
Seriously guys why is anyone upset about cutting a side of beef? Nothing is being implied except this is one serious bad add blade that will slice through damn near anything in its path!

@csknives I just dont understand why you would demonstrate your knife's ability with a comparison to a gun. Why not just cut threw tuff hard material

@Cudaman1157 We've also demonstrated our Boar Spears damage compared to that of a shotgun. We cut through tough material all the time (the Kukri we are discussing made a record cut of 15.5" of free hanging manilla rope in one cut!!! - that is extremely tough, fibrous material - many knives fail to cut even 1"). We also show graphic demonstrations against flesh and bone. This is one of those tests.

I'm sure a .357 Magnum round has more stopping power than a Kukri at 50 feet.
