  • @UnfittingCarbon ► All Ford Windstars - Manufactured at Oakville Assembly Plant, Oakville, Ontario, Canada

  • ► Anything about the rear axle recalls are Generation 2 Ford Windstars (1999 - 2003) only.

  • @NICAZOID That's actually the 98-03 one though...

  • @waterfordjim ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My uncle had a 96 windstar lx. the power steering pumps went out and the car almost caught fire. the brakes were rusted out too

  • Don't forget the self destructing rear axle!!

  • The windstars that were made in canada were a lot more reliable than ones that weren't, for some reason.

  • I had one of these and someone dumped a bucket of DIARRHEA into the sunroof and pretty much ruined the fucking thing. :-)

  • Ford really wasn't in for a good game with the aerostar, windstar, and freestar. None of them got a very good rating. I found that with the aerostar, there was not enough foot room for the driver. Seating was very high. Than you have the windstar which never had enough room in the backseats. Freestar could fall in the same category. They weren't built very well either. I used to have a windstar, and it didn't drive well, you had to park a certain way due to the one sided door.

  • @keepmacin lol, happened to ours

  • The Windstar was a good effort by Ford during the popular minivan wars of the 90s, but it wasnt long after that the 96 Chrysler vans came out and suddenly if you didn't have dual sliding doors, you were obsolete.

  • Is that Stockard Channing narrating?...

  • With the added rear axel snap.
