The current promotion - which also includes selling stuffed GUND monkeys in Telus stores, with proceeds going to charities such as The Humane Society and United Way - will help Telus stand out among other mobile phone companies, particularly during one of their busiest times of the year.

If Telus was selling stuff and giving the proceeds they (Telus) cannot claim it as a tax deduction. And no, I am not an accountant. They collect money and ship it off, where does a tax write off come in. Love their ads !!
