This is the Sinn 757 S pilot's chronograph. Sinn is a German watchmaker who is not well known in the US, but makes excellent watches.

  • The process is likely Ferritic nitrocarburizing. Its how they make process gun barrels. Its basically a high temp salt bath and quench to change the metals surface structure which hardens it.

  • If macro shots provided will be better.

  • "S" is used on the watches with the PVD coating, but "S" actually stands for schwartz which is german for "black"
