This video only confirms my thoughts of the boring level designs of the wii version compared to the 360/ps3 versions of the game, over half the video was filled with straights with nothing but rings on them, you do nothing but run forwards and turn corners sometimes, that's it. Yeah there were a couple of moments with loops and badguys to home on, but its mostly just a baron wasteland, feels like the developers havn't finished putting stuff in the level, even though this is the final design.
Well until we see all the level designs we can't say that for sure because this level is the first one in the game so its only fair to have fewer obstacles in the beginning levels so that you can learn and get used to controls of controlling Sonic. I think its not the level designs are boring its just there isn't a lot of obstacles and events going on in the background. I think thats fine because Sonic is all about speed so why slow him down with so many enemies and obstacles...just an opinion.
yeah i agree with sonicmario. like in Sonic Adventure, the very first level, Emerald coast. There were only enemies in the very first 10 - 15 seconds of the level, the rest of the level was basically just getting to the finish.
