A very interesting piece that defies concrete description. Definately hear the Chopin Etudes influence. The worst I could say is that it seems incomplete, as I expected a striking derivitive at the end. However, your technique is excellent and I liked the unexpectedness that forced me to forget everything else to absorb it all. I particularly enjoyed how you encorporated the old silent films villian theme repeatedly, but LOVED that you met my expectations at nearly every measure.

@ananominity Thanks buddy, much appreciated. Regarding the ending, I do enjoy making them unexpected. Cheers!

Great composition! loved its changing moods. verl "Karl" sound to it :)
did I hear a pentatonic scale at 5:03? :P also, the chord change before that was really cool :)

@TheGuyWhoJustShotYou Thanks Daniel! Yes you sure are right about the pentagonic scale, I'm glad you noticed! It's not a scale I'm very fond of, but in the context I felt it worked. :P
