Betsy is a street cat who was brought in by a client who was concerned for her health. Apparently Betsy had been living rough for over 6 months. Immediately we were sure that Betsy was not an alley cat - she was way too sweet and friendly, and clearly once belonged to someone. She had no identification. While she was recovering we tried to find her owners but so far have had no luck. Because we are a cat only vet clinic Betsy has everything she needs and is quite happy - check out some of the other videos of her in the clinic. However we'd really like to reunite her with her family. Please forward this video to anyone you know who lives in Richmond, used to live in Richmond or who might know someone who does. The more people see this video the greater the chances of someone recognizing her. If you do please write to helpbetsy@kittentocat.com

  • I am pleased to report Betsy has a new home! Unfortunately we never got to the bottom of who her previous owners were but the story does have a happy ending.

In the words of her new owner: I was bowled over ... She was smaller and prettier than her pictures. She was asleep, but when she opened her eyes she gave me a look that seemed to say: I know who you are. We had connected ... she was so friendly, rubbing up against me, I felt it was just for me!

  • Please forward this to as many people as possible - the more people who see it the better our chances of reuniting her with her family

  • We would also love to adopt her but we've already got three, one of whom is very possessive of our home, and we also live outside the area(we're in the US). I hope she finds a happy ending soon. She's very beautiful!

  • i'm wondering if betsy belonged to someone who died....

or to some family that moved out of the country? have they tried a private investigator to find where the trail ends????

i pray that she'' be reunited with whoever was her guardian. thankfully she's in a good place meantime.

  • How sad! I have 11 kitties of my own - I know how I would feel if I lost one of them! Betsy - hope you find your home really soon!

  • God, it makes me cry... I would adopt her, but I dont even live in England... I really would adopt her...
