This is a tune performed on an A harmonica which has been retuned to A harmonica minor--so the blow chord is minor, and the draw is still the dominant (V chord).
I uploaded direct from my Flip, and the sound was bad, so this is a reload--should be better.

  • Great videos, thanks for uploading. I'm brand new to the harmonical scene. I'm interested in buying some and learning... but namely blues harp. But I'm curious, you mentioned you modifed this harmonica. How does one do that? Can harmonicas be bought that are already tuned to a minor cord or are they always major? Thanks.

Lee Oskar makes minor tuned harmonicas, just not one like this.

I made this one from an existing major tuned harmonica, I have been doing retunes a lot in the last few years.

For blues, standard tuned harps are best. But there is lots of music out there--

  • That's overstating it a bit 8)

I tune the reeds, to create tunings not commercially available.

    Like this one!
