Yes, comparing this to a Gold Wing is a bit crazy.

The RT is a sports tourer, the Wing is a 'luxo-tourer'. They are both top of their class and *fabulous* bikes regardless.

Now put this beastie up next to a ST1300, now you've got a comparo!

Incidentally, 'chalk and cheese' is British. The saying (of course) means 'night and day' but nobody knows where it came from.

@jaycraft1, the comparison with a gold wing isn't correct. This would compare to the Honda ST1300. To compare to a goldwing, you'd choose the K1600
