@GameJourney You 're right concerning this specific video, but there are several examples of him singing the same song without being flat. Try the version from live in Koln '92, for example (1:00): watch?v=Tn4ijBtnfNA. Every vocalist has a 'bad' night from time to time, but that doesn't mean that his technique is at fault. If that's the case what about Dickinson's early and post 1985 years with Maiden? He didn't even go for his very high notes or when he did he sounded strained and thin!

1:23. Hear how he's always flat on that first syllable of "eagle" and on the word "leave"? It's his belting technique that's the issue there. He's a baritone who belts/yells his high notes. I'm not a troll. Kiske is great.

@GameJourney In this concert, Monsters Of Rock festival, Helloween were Iron Maiden's support band. In some shows they were the support band and in many concerts they were the headliners playing for about 2 hours
