To be fair on the author of this vids, it is always easier to nag about details than to do it better. I find the videos are well reflected - showing the technique from different angles, and not using words.
Moreover, it is actually very difficult to play mechanical exercises like these and sound great. The negative commentator below should maybe record him- or herself playing this type of crap.
Agree, note fingered by finger 2 is flat. I would not recommend being mechanical about hand position though. One can relax the fingers not needed - tension in the hand is unnecessary. I recently switched to four finger technique - only possible with this approach. But it also helps with traditional fingering. Moreover, I would advise beginners to use a higher position, e.g. first finger on fifth 'fret' to acquire left hand familiarity - not as far spread out, and easier to hear.
it's out of tune, wrong spreading between the 1st and 2nd finger and between the 2nd and the 3rd/4th finger! you can see it's out of tune! the 2nd finger should atleast be -ín the middle-!
Oh man, you can SEE it's out of tune!
The space between the 1st and the 2nd finger
should at least be as large as between the 2nd and 4th finger
(and a little bit more). Keep on studying and have some self-critic!

the problem with this is that the second note is always out of tune, because of bad fingering.
