Are you fucking kidding me? You're saying that the police should have pussed out and just let violent criminals walk away? In a situation like that, you don't know what the guys are after; they theoretically could have just been mass murderers that picked a bank as their target (as unlikely a scenario). If that were the case, they might have struck again and then more civilians would have died. Hell, even as bank robbers, they could rob again and kill people in the process. Fail logic.
