Another oldie from the Blanks. We wrote it far too early to be relevant, and so I'm posting it too late to be relevant. Written in '95...

The repetitive guitar riff was originally inspired by the XTC song "when you're near me I have difficulty" set to 'ultra repetitive'... we liked it so we set it to the lyrics and voila, another song was born. I'm still not sure why the drummer loved playing the tambourine so much on this one.

This song was once requested when a Sony exec came to a practice and asked us to play "that heavy guitar driven song." Since he clearly wasn't paying any attention to the words I glared at him through the entire performance.
