Heard these guys for the first time @ Wetlands in NYC in 2000. It was 1 of 2 consecutive nights of carnage that featured bands such as Nile, Immolation, Incantation, Dying Fetus, and many others. I didn't know what to expect from these guys (I thought the promoters simply placed Origin in the bill to 'fill in time' - this happens a lot in many 6-8 hour concerts). As I stood about 8 feet away from John's drumkit to witness their playing ... it was ABSOLUTE ANNIHILATION!!! GREAT FUCKING BAND!!!

Not only was John completely hairless at that time, his cymbal setup was also different. It was kind of a symmetrical setup similar to Terry Bozzio's (Although he didn't used that many cymbals!).
Needless to say, John's performance that night, as well as the other times I saw them, was spectacular. Played very precise and FAST! Kevin Talley's performance was also great -that motherfucker played with a piccolo snare and it sounded awesome. I spent about $200 in those 2 nights in shirts & CDs!!!
