"Exploring the Spectrum" is a great film. It shows just how important the color of light can be in determining plant and animal health. It's interesting that the number indicating how many times this clip has been viewed hasn't changed at all in at least a week (as of 12/24/11 it's still at 30,559), and I know because I've checked. Look at the uploaded date and the current number of views and do the math. Is someone trying to make it appear as if fewer people have seen it?

@MrJWM29 To our knowledge, the count is accurate. The work of John Ott is opposed by the mainstream thinkers, notably for his emphasis upon the healthy nature of trace-level UV radiation. Ott found the best light bulbs were the standard incandescent with clear glass. They duplicated the sun's spectrum more exactly than any other bulbs, including most of the "full spectrum" varieties. Big Government is trying to get rid of all incandescents, in favor of the toxic mercury CFL bulbs.

recently bought the dvd from amazon. An oldie but goodie! Now reading the book - Health and Light - and am very glad I saw the video first as it brings to life the written words. Makes understanding the message / testing much more. Lots more UV light books on my Amazon wish list! Already bought some Ott Lites / bulbs too -- and a reptile UV bulb too boot - as Ott Lites don't put out UV despite their heritage from John Ott.
