You do realize there are more poor whites in the US than blacks right? It's just that the percentages are higher for blacks making it APPEAR that they're worse off.
Using your "logic," wouldn't that make whites lazier? I don't know the percentages for those taking public assistance but does it matter? They're all just taking advantage of a flawed system, just like our politicians and business leaders.
