Where It Hurts from the Road Salt One(2010) album by progressive metal band Pain of Salvation.

Lyric:

Tell me where it hurts, so I can reach the pain.
Tell me where it hurts. Just pump it through my vain.
Be brave and tell me where it hurts.

There's something deep inside than you don't want to show.
There's something that you hide, 'cause you're afraid I'll go.
But no.
Tell me where it hurts.

You tell me not to go. (Tell me where it hurts)
Say you want to be my holy grail. (Tell me where it hurts)
And your skin is white like fallen snow. (Tell me where it hurts)
I don't want to leave my marks. (Tell me where it hurts)
But if I do, are you brave enough to let me through to touch you where it hurts?

I'll touch you where it hurts.
I'll touch you where it hurts.
I'll touch you where it hurts.
And you can touch me.
Come on and touch me where it hurts.

Everyone I know seems to be broken inside.
Everybody hurting just from being alive.

Touch me where it hurts.
Touch me where it hurts.
Touch me where it hurts.
Touch me where it hurts.
Come touch me where it hurts.

I do not own this song and is copyright of Pain of Salvation and InsideOut Music.

  • @stormcorrosion The first 5 albums are absolutely brilliant, where could that creativity possibly have gone? Usually when bands change styles, they don't go back. So if they did make The Perfect Element III next, it would most likely be Scarsick II.

  • @TheBraveDiamond Would you post an video? sorry my english...

  • great song

  • I'm going to perform it live with my band.

I'll let you know if I'll break my vocal chords at 3.03 or at 3.46.

  • great song!!! great lyrics!

  • Where the hell has this been all my life. I took me 3 months of singing for a Progressive Metal band to actually take the time to listen to other Prog-Metal artists besides Dream Theater. I listen to all the music before this and I Pain of Salvation has not seize to feed my ears. I want more and more after every song!

  • @w7class Me too. I seriously hope they'll go back to the pre-Scarsick sound now that this "Road Salt Sequence" is over... maybe with The Perfect Element III, if they actually make it.

  • listening to this, i sigh for songs like "martius nauticusII" , even though things can never be the same all the time.

  • Good Album, but I can't feel more impact than "The Perfect Element Pt1"and"Be".These albams are like a top of moutain for them.

  • I can't like it often enough.
