@longhorn2123 On the album, jack made another track that was him explaining the song. He was hanging out in the Bronx, teaching school children how to draw waves. "drawing waves on the pavement", when he saw a plane fly over head, so he wrote the first verse. This was a month prior to 9/11, and after the WTC attacks, he continued writing the song, adding more verses about it.
