Gag Reflex - ♪♪ - 11 October 1994 - WDC - pt 1 of 4 - 咽頭反射

Gag Reflex was born out of the wreckage of the Legendary DC Supergroup known as The Fuck Orchestra. Appearing in early incarnations as Hermaphrodite from Spain Gag Reflex from Mexico City joined forces with Doña Velasquez to perform at Christy Street, The Chase and Webster Hall in New York City. In addition to an early unnamed gig at DC Space and Washington Project for the arts DC performances included MOCA-DC and the Collective Unconscious as well as this gig at Strangeways in Arlington, VA to a small but supportive scene.

This performance was a creative response to a book I read in 1993 entitled: Noise The Political Economy of Music by Jaques Attali
