All too true. Dogs, by and large, are unconditional companions. You can't abuse your dog and expect it to cling to you but when you teach a dog love it will return it ten fold and never hold it over your head.

I have seen wolves that were raised by humans since birth behave much like any dog. Though more powerful and effective at killing than a pit they can behave like a collie.

@Marymary73 I myself have owned of these so called "violent" dogs for 12 years!!..Not even once has she EVER snapped or bitten anyone and she is phenomenal with children, the elderly and a FANTASTIC family pet!!.Could you be anymore ignorant?? @tomvercetti My heart goes out to you....Rudy(our red-nose) is turning 10 next spring, and I'm not sure how many more years he has in him....worst yet, we can never get another pit-bull, because the province I live in has banned them.
