@ja77queen She is to be respected, but not to be embarrased by your obvious sincere but misinformed comments. Sarah is the embodiment of the totality of our ancestors' creative spirits. Her voice is a magnificent magical gift from the Creator Most High that has never been heard before, nor shall we ever hear it again. The greatest voice that ever lived. Dinah represented another dimension of the same wellspring. Miss Alexander is blessed to have both to learn from and aspire to. Sincerely yours

Dee contributed with her skills, her grace, her beauty and her kindness to mark as an unforgettable one the festival where she performed two days ago in South West Sardinia.

This is not jazz, this is just ridiculous!

You were great I took my brother and sister daughter and an out of town guest to the velvet loung in may of 2009 and they just fell in love with you. and my out of town guest bought your cd. I will be back in chicago for the 2009 jazz festival. I can not wait to see you I know it going to be a treat.

Yeah I agree you have the best voice I've heard Dee!

She's the best in the world i was on workshops with Dee and it was awsome!!!!

I think the range of her work in some ways surpasses both Dinah and Sarah. As someone who for many years has thought that no one could surpass the divine nature of Vaughn's voice--I think that Dee is more than well on her way.

Interesting use of words, but off-the-mark, as I'm sure Dee would agree. Comments such as these don't advance an artist's career, either!
Dee is (obviously) a very talented singer, but she hasn't risen to the ranks of Dinah Washington or Sarah Vaughan . . . yet.
Dee rules!
