You must be joking!! You're dreaming! Most of your neighbors will haul ass to relatives in the country. No way you can secure that property. You're speaking of starvation, if the bottom falls out! Do you know what that means? It's every man for himself. You better get realistic! Only people that will have a chance are in the country. City folks and subdivisions, not much hope. If you live in town and are storing food, even if you own a gun, they will get it! Even if they have to kill you!

container gardening, you can grow tomatoes in pots in doors. also you could use grow lights. if it hits the fan, go dig up the courtyard and put in a garden. where there is a will there is a way

yes but the pay off is you get to eat. if society fails and i believe it will very soon. think about it this way, the treasury is producing massive amounts of money for these bailouts, that is taxpayer money, you and i are on the hook for all that crap. and the more you have of something the less it is worth. so the dollar is worth nothing, we import 80 percent of our oil, nobody will sell us oil if the dollar is worthless. so no dollar, no oil, equals no diesel, no 18 wheelers, no food.
