We were born this way :)
And -16C is not even that cold, we have seen days that were below -40C..

as long as one fires the rest wil start (heat transfere)

Yep. But uneven heating is extremely stressful for cylinder head. Will get those plugs changed asap.
when i gets below 0 here, i just use a block heater. My engine is a 6.0 L PSD.
