SH2 is one of my favourite games of all time. I was fighting back tears when I first played this and saw this scene. It really pushes the player to the point where you have to decide for yourself what is right and what is wrong. Did James kill Mary because he loved her? Or was it to put an end to his suffering so he could be 'free' of his sick wife?
And I love the music too lol.

this is why I love Silent Hill 2, instead of playing as a hero, you play as a poor man tormented by his past, and the monsters, showing the darker thoughts that lurks in people's mind, you can know a person for years, but you'll never know what lurks in his head, we all have secrets that will die with us... hahaha, well, sorry for the philosophy lesson!, thanks for sharing this!!!
