  • @Fuckhead274 can't take you seriously when your name is "fuckhead274"

In respect to Rafal, this was an amazing performance of both preludes. I figured this would be ideal to help me work on the No.14 Prelude better, giving me a proper example.

  • Makes me feel uncomfortable watching the great Chopin being played by someone wearing a short sleeved shirt......on youtube.....AND reading the comments made by and audience with an I.Q. of 188, but the maturity of a three year old.

  • @TwelfthRoot2 Strange polyrhythms, balancing the repetitive A flat/G# so it sounds insistent but not annoying, peaking emotion and dynamics at the right time during the C# minor portion....I'd say this is a very technical piece for the tempo.

  • En tant que pianiste jouant actuellement ce morceau, je ne peux qu'aimer :)

  • I've never seen a pianist this good at his age. I know this isn't a very technical piece, but he is displaying everything perfectly. Very impressive.

  • @ihaveacar There are surely lots of wrong ways to play any piece - you haven't heard me playing!. I think you meant this is one of the very good ways.

  • There is no wrong way to play a piece. But this is definitely the right way.

  • so, he's a Nike guy eh...

  • the no.14 is FINALLY at one of the most "appropriate" tempos!

Chopin wrote "Allegro", while all pianists play this piece like a presto or prestissimo.

  • Enough with the over romantic bullshit.
