linux is very hard to work.but the graphic is the most fantastic of all OS. this is it with this OS-linux.....nice but hard,very hard

actually, Ubuntu is really easy to use. Arguably easier than mac or windows.

hey how doo u get the minimize like mac os x (genie effect) i have compiz and i dont get that effect where d i get it?

it has since been disabled due to apple copyrighting it somehow..

but in the animation section in the settings manager set minimize to magic lamp

@NewKeepSharing31 Sorry but Ubuntu 11.10 sucks badly,The Unity and performance are just bad.I switched to Kubuntu and KDE and it was best decision i ever made.

@mpgarate Ive used all three and windows is still easier to use. Ubuntu i would say is almost there but it gets a little advanced if you need software thats not on the software center. Very close though.

also, what dock are you using? how do you get the transparent thumbnail of the open app when you mouse over the icon in the dock!!!???? that is slick! did you have to use some kind of composite manger? i can't figure that part out, so i don't use minimized thumbnails in my dock.
