You can try it, but the new MSN might be glitchy or only work with the latest updates. At the time I made this video MSN for Mac didn't have video chat.

If it doesn't work please explain what is wrong, include any error messages you get, and try to post information about crashes etc in Console.app.

On the new msn 8 for mbp how do you see contact details like pictures of your contacts on the list.

You should be able to right click on the contact and click something like info, but I haven't used the new MSN.

This should work better than the new MSN with video chat. I have tried using the main MSN for Mac application with video chat supported and it stopped working a few days ago, and is very glitchy. I used the app showed in the video for a few months and it worked perfectly ok.
