@evj64 Ok you do know Johnnie was parylized from the neck down in a auto accident in 1979 in the hospital for a year before he was released then wheel chair ridden until he past away right. Johnnie was not singing anywhere in this. No one & I mean no one can sing this song like Johnnie did. Even Luther Vandross was not nearly as good as Johnnie Wilder's version.

Other then Keith Wilder are any of the others part of the original group. Rod Temperton was the original keyboard player and wrote the song,

LOL, that's Keith Wilder singing, not JD. He left the band for the Commodores in the early '80s.
