This is the first of a series of video blogs documenting the trade of coffee between the coffee cooperative, Coope Pueblos, here in southern Costa Rica to the United States. This video focuses on the last day of the coffee harvest here as we helped Roberto Jimenez pick the last of his beans for the season. Check out more at www.fincaproject.org
Watch my short film 'The Good Shopper' just click on my name badboypass and watch the vid from there. It's about ethical shopping and campaigning. Make Trade Fair, Fairtrade, Amnesty and Christianaid.
the only reason the green beans were harvested was because it was the end of the season. but you are right, you should only harvest ripe red berries.
