@Hejssandra Eric Schweig (sp?) has said in an interview there IS a deleted scene between them, though it's not a sex scene, more what he called a puppy love type attraction scene. I've yet to see it posted anywhere. I don't have the DVD; maybe it's there.

Oh really? I think that scene is really hard to find. I've got the dvd and there's nothing there. Some says it's in the VHS version but I don't know

They should have focused on both love stories. They should release the original movie with all the scenes they filmed includeing the scene with alice and uncas at the waterfall that ended up on the cutting room floor.

I liked Uncas. I really feel bad for eric though. Read his bio, kinda sucks. Glad he made a name for himself. As for this deleted scene thing, this is the first I've heard of it but it would have made more sense to leave it than take it out of the movie. Help explain with more depth why Uncas went after and died for her and why Alice jumped.

@Hejssandra There is a scene, but apparently Jodhi May's parents weren't happy about it because she was only 16 when this was film and it was removed. I'd give anything to have a director's cut with that scene.
