Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) is investing millions of dollars in training "hundreds" of sales staff for phone companies worldwide to encourage them to sell devices running its Windows Phone operation system, as the company looks to catch up in the smartphone market, according to a Guardian.co.uk report.
The news came as HTC unveiled two new smartphones on Thursday, the Titan and Radar, which are based on Mango, the next update to Windows Phone.
Microsoft has a potential upside of 23.3% based on a current price of $25.99 and an average consensus analyst price target of $32.06.
