Which game should I get: BF3 or MW3? Usually I play battlefield games or Halo 3 (don't like Reach's armor lock), and prefer games that aren't as fast-paced as COD, but most of my friends have MW3 and not BF3. Also, the maps look bigger than most of the reviews, and are the maps as horrible as I keep hearing compared to the rest of the series?

@TheApplefan4life How is COD a team oriented based game? Its mostly lone wolf team deathmatch type gameplay. If anything, its the opposite. In BF games, you have to think and plan strategically with your TEAMMATES to win the more objective oriented matches.

@pacloro Well im glad you like it, but its very different from MW3. COD is a team oriented based game where you run out there and kill players. Unlike BF3 where you need to think and plan. Like this: if you go this way you die, so ill go this way. But thats to slow for me, i like fast paced team games. Thats what made the multiplayer exciting for me, unlike BF3, I liked BF3 MP, but now that i have MW3, im not planning on going back anytime soon.

@blablabla5069 Yes they are very similar. I like the realism of the game, and thats what makes it so realistic, but thats also the reason i didnt like it. It wasnt that fun. In MW3, it was no stop action scenes, and that kept me interested, and thats what a game has to do, and thats what BF3 failed at to me. And the multiplayer is really good yes, but its very different that COD, its not a team oriented game, unlike COD where is run out a kill, and thats what makes it exciting to play.

@TheApplefan4life If you compare all of the gameplay elements to Call of Duty it would be extremely identical in the campaign. Russian problems and The way the story is introduced is just like the Black Ops story where someone is being interrogated and you play flash backs and what not. Some of the better parts are the vehicle sequences because of how different and better they are from most modern war games. The multiplayer on the other hand is amazing.Way different than almost all games out now

@WhenHellBrokeLoose Its called "commenting", and ill do what i want with it. I knew what i was saying, i own both games, and finished both games. And im not new to the FPS games. BF3 campaign was very realistic, and thats what made it good. But thats what also made it bad. In real war, at least what i know of it, is not the cinematic plane falling, subway crashing, helicopter exploding like COD, but thats what made it fun to play, and watch. BF3 was so realistic, it was boring to me.

@blablabla5069 I dont think its try hard to be like call of duty at all. I like the realism of the game, thats why i didnt like it so much. Its less of a game, and more of a "simulator", in my opinion. I didnt like the story, to typical, and and MP is surprisingly pretty good, and yes it is over hyped, because of its graphics and sound, which are incredible. But its the story and gameplay that matters the most.

@TheApplefan4life In the past games. Likewise, there's nothing wrong with extra discs for a game. To me, it means that the game must have some sort of edge over other games if the game was so big that they need to pack it into two discs. Oh, and High res texture pack. Now don't troll at me, cuz I did try out the MP on MW3, and if anything I found it to be worse than MW2...

@TheApplefan4life Here's my take on it. I enjoy BF3 way more than COD. I will admit the BF3 campaign kinda sucked, but it was still a fun play nonetheless. However I will say that I have always been a fan of the MW campaigns, so I wouldn't doubt that the campaign is fun to play. That being said, I gotta hand multiplayer to BF3. 32 vs 32, with tanks helis jets and much more. COD has been the same re-hashed MP (give or take a few things) since COD4, and I haven't found anything intuitive in it.

Dont know if its just me but it looks and feels different. It also runs of a new system, IW5 not IW4 :)
