To help focus the attention of 2008 presidential candidates on the issues that working Americans struggle with each day -- a paycheck that supports a family, affordable health care, a secure retirement, and a better life for themselves and their families -- the nation's fastest growing labor union is urging every candidate to take time off from campaigning to "walk a day in the shoes" of working people. SEIU members are inviting all candidates to accompany them on the job and spend time with them at home with their families.

  • THE INSURANCE COs., THE DOCTORS, THE DRUG COs. AND THE HOSPITALS HAVE PAID MILLONS TO WASH. DC. SO THAT THEY CAN CONTINUE TO RAPE AND BILK THE SYSTEM LIKE THEY DO NOW.

THE PTs AND THE NURSES WILL GET THE SHAFT.

    BEND OVER,HERE IT COMES AGAIN.

  • i'm a bsn graduate. i have cleaned plenty of butts in my life time. i'm not too grown to do so. but, having a good cna makes all the difference in the world. and you have to supervise the ones who don't do their job, and often have to do their job on top of yours. if a pt doesn't get bathed, the cna doesn't get yelled at first, the nurse does.

  • well, i can't spell, so..........

  • i cant type, sorry

  • well, yelling at them is dumb, it doesn't accomplish anything. and besides, it makes you look unprofessional.

  • IF YOU YELL AT THE CNA , YOU GET FIRED-----THATS WHY SO MANY RN DONT GIVE A CRAP WHAT THE CNAs DO.

  • RIGHT ON- RN = SLAVE

  • I agree!!

  • I agree nurse Marsh!!

Can;t wait until the day I become a RN!!

  • Other than being an over the road truck driver chooing to be an RN will take you down a road that provides very little if any home time and taking call will give you a 30 hour plus shift. You will be so tired and so badly treated you will be like most RNs ,,, You will quit with the first two years. Roughly 60 % quit to never pracice nursing again. The fact speak for themselves.

  • i can take anything but a g.i. bleed.
