Side one, the first four songs: Hear the Wind Howl, Busted Bicycle, Easter, and Louise. My Feet Are Smiling was the first Leo Kottke album I bought, and it's still my favorite.
The clips and stills have nothing to do with the live album.
But if you like a few things to look at, there you go.

The whole thing's up on a playlist on my channel if you want to listen to the album straight through. Go out and buy a copy, by all means. This is reproduced from my old album so you're going to hear the needle pop from time to time.

  • The times I spent listening to this album (when it was released) were the best times of my life, and I spent these times with the best people I have ever known.

  • @reXmcKeys The times, like the music, were indeed sweet.

  • Thank you!!!!!

  • @Birchbark5 You're welcome. Funny how the tube police didn't mind my putting the whole thing out there.

  • Thanks a ton...Missing this album and this filled my need!!! Best energy in his songs than any other recording I have heard.

  • @jtsound1 I agree. Leo has several memorable albums, but I never get tired of this one though I've memorized about every lick.

  • One of my all time favorite albums. The best version of "Louise" ever.

  • First saw Kottke 40 years ago . Wore out 2 copies of this album on vinyl and have had this cd with me since .

  • i'm amazed that his guitar doesn't burst into flames

  • @bitnola ....... probably because it's soooo good and Kottke likes to share his music

  • Thanks for the post. This reminds me of kicking back in a dorm room at Young Harris College in 1974. I really like the song Louise. "Women like Louise, they get by . . . "
