@MrChicity4life The original version of 'Come see about me' was released in 1964 by the Supremes but has been covered by so many differant artists. To name a couple in the style you've mentioned, (Female vocal acts) Martha & the Vandellas but also The Velvelettes. If i would have to guess I think you're looking for the version by the Velvelettes. The song was also performed by Jr. Walker, Gladys Knight and if I remember correctly I believe that there is a version done by the Pointer sisters.

BEAUTIFUL SONG!!! B.T.W. Could someone please tell me who sing the song ,with the verse "KISS ME AND HOLD ME......COME SEE ABOUT ME .... I'm NOT TALKING ABOUT THE SUPREMES ,BUT IT WAS A GROUP OF SISTER'S FROM BACK IN THE DAY,MAYBE THE LATE 50S EARLY 60S... PLEASE GET BACK AT ME WITH THAT , I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT....
