If drain flow is clogged or restricted in your water filter, you will need to remove the DLFC ( drain line flow control ) button. This example shows how to remove, clean, and replace the flow button used in the Fleck 5600 Valve.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm having weird problems with my Fleck 5600 and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I followed your excellent instructions here just to see if, by chance something was wrong with my DLFC and the button was turned sideways. I just ordered a replacement retainer (I broke mine when removing) and a new button for good measure. Excellent video. Excellent detail. Thanks again.
