We just got an '05 Dakota, 4.7 2WD SLT, much like this one, minus the Laramie package, and to be honest, we bought it because it was a sweet deal, but I'm falling in love with the truck, it's got this same exhaust, and it's a real quality product, with gobs of torque and an interior and ride that blows me away. I'm a die-hard Ford fan, but Dodge makes one hell of a truck. The Dakota is a real winner.

@Davidjagoe the resinators on the dakotas are they before the factory muffler, cus mine has a huge muffler and then before that there is a smaller one but it looks nothing like a cat. Do you know??????

does taking off the resignator have an effect on the computer or screw it up in anyway

no, it should have no effect on the engines computer. the resonator just reduces the sounds. not every car has resonators, but on the truck, they are just smaller and more simple muflers. if you want a nice quiet rumble keep the resonators, if you want it loud and throaty then you should have them removed.
