Never really listened to John Denver speak- though I've always been touched by his pure and clear music, songwriting ability, and voice. But I was surprised (I don't know why) to find that he's also articulate, intelligent, and has a great attitude about life in general. It's truly a tragedy when someone like that, who's an inpiration, passes away, because they're rare.

It is amazing how John could always respond with a freshness when he answered the same question had been asked at least 1000 times in interviews. Now that is a good performance.

I agree 100%. What he would say about what's going on in the world today would be inspiring. I wish more people in a similar position would speak up and hold benifit (sp) concerts.

Hi, I totally agree, John was a wonderful performer and also brilliant singer / songwriter. For instance you could start to play one of his songs and drift into a daydream with the images he created with his beautiful lyrics. All the best Mark
