I produced this show when I was in my 20's and Davey was a dear friend of mine since childhood. It is unbelievably emotional to see this again.

Losing Davey was one of the biggest tragedies that NASCAR suffered. Would he have been a Champion if he was still around? Oh hell yeah!

Davey was a GREAT driver that died way too young. He was the first young driver to prove rookies could win in good equipment. He was the first rookie to ever win 2 races.

Hidden Heroes was the quality kind of motorsport show missing in today's lineup. I'd love to see the Harry Hyde Hidden Heroes show, it was a hoot, as well as so informative about the man. The show was simply the best of it's kind. To all those Davey Allison fans, the kid's talent was immeasurable and gone for one little field position change in his new helicopter. Such a crime.
