Recorded into Cubase. Added some plate reverb and EQ. Spaced pair Shure SM81's close mic'd. Tried XY coincident afterward, and it sounded great, but due to the further distance the mics picked up hum in the room.

Thanks! The piece isn't actually that long or too difficult to memorize. The main theme is repeated 3 times. Other than that there are two other sections nestled in between. So the song structure is ABACA. Heitor Villa-Lobos was a well-known (in classical circles, anyway) Brazilian composer.
