...this is from Lee Michaels, San Francisco's answer to Steve Winwood...easily one of the baddest B-3 players/blue-eyed soul singers of all time...this guy's timing is just amazing, and his raw "feel" is unsurpassed to this day. This cut is live with Lee on B-3 and "Frosty" on drums...that's it...B-3, vocals and drums. Probably the baddest cat you've never heard of...haha...and one of my main musical idols, end of story. My lifetime musical goal is to be 1/10th as good as this cat on keyboards...forget the vocals...LOL
He was deaf, I seem to remember.

Saw Lee and Frosty at the Fillmore West in San Francisco in the late '60s.. Will never forget Frosty's unbelievable drum solo during How Would You Feel. Aw yes, those were the days. I'm 60 now and can't believe how I got this old.

I was blessed by God to see him perform the entire lp ov which this track is from at the Monterey Fairgrounds back in 1969. I still have the original vinyl copy ov this classik lp & I still play it. i've since burned it to Cd to play it in my car. Thank U! We need a live performance footage concert from this era badly. He is truly amazing.
