  • Sorry, but I must tell the truth: Griffith only had the money to make films, not the brain. He needs too many words, for even this trivial plot.

  • mdubuque: Actually Chaplin's Tramp came out five years before this film so it may be the other way around. ;)

  • In this segment, there is a fellow that looks so much like the comic role Chaplin would later play, including the bowler hat, twitching nose and mustache.

    Was Chaplin's character inspired by this film?
