I think this song is about broken friendship? The two birds are friends, and the wire can be a belief. And one is just too stubborn to leave that belief whereas the other has already given up. It is a deep song whith many interpretations i guess, but it is still beautiful, like all her other songs.

Also, the two friends remind me of Charles and Erik from Xmen: First Class cuz they have similiar beliefs but different approaches so they separated :(

reminds me of my own friendships. me and my best friend and me currently drifing apart, it reminds me of how isolated i feel and how much i want that close friendship back. plus one of my friends who randomly moved away- for a while people resented her but now it seems it makes no difference. i'm tired of feeling alone.
