just wait till you get to the PORTD function... and the bitshift left and rights.... and the "for" loops.... and then you'll REALLY have fun cuz at that point you can use all that to write your code in 8-bit binary sequences!!!

Even if the screen sync is low, it's still good. but I don't see any IC in there, what did you use??
