  • So i'm getting my adnoids and tonsils out in 5 days, and i'm kinda nervous. Like was the pain bareable? Like not to the point of straight out crying? I have a pretty decent pain tolerance, i just don't wanna be completely fucked afterwards..thanks.

  • @metalrocksync Sorry for the late response. The pain is tolerable with the pain meds they give you. You still feel some pain though. I guess it really just depends on the person.

  • Thanks- I kinda have the same but only on one side and the particles and I totally kept it off for a long while. and do they usually do the surgery in the mornings that seems like it alot in other videos. another thing is it ok to eat or drink warm stuff. also when saying at like 2:40 the pre op meds. isn't the pre op 7- 10 days before the sugery so why wait the day before?? ok well thanks again

  • @TheLuvredoreo I would say that most of them are in the morning. Eating/drinking wasn't really a problem as long as I was on meds...The days after are going to be rough regardless. I had all of my pre-op stuff the day before my surgery, paperwork, blood work etc. It all depends on your doctor. I say to get your meds the day before your surgery so that you can have them when you get home.

  • I had mine taken out 5 days ago, tonsils and adnoids, i tried eating fries yesterday and choked haha. It doesnt hurt as much anymore during the day, but at night it gets really bad. The worst thing is the scabs growing in my throat. the doctor said theyd make my breath smell which I could live with, but every time I breath in it smells. It's pretty nasty.

  • @jarjarBANKZ Yeah i'm about 10 hours post op. It's not that bad at all. My uvula is super swollen, and dragging on my tounge and stuff. Hoping it doesnt get too bad. They put me on liquid oxycotton.
