@Lordoftheflies234 The beermat could have words only, the rest of the tune could be done in a "live" situation during practice. These things are difficult to either prove or even form an educated guess, maybe it's why Lennon & McCartney gave each other credit for their songs jointly. I don't think Lennon had much to do with say Eleanor Rigby or McCartney with "Revolution".

@Lordoftheflies234 Ya better believe it. It was on the jukebox in our local pub in the mid 70's, I used to play it whenever I went in. No-one else seems to have heard this, or remember it for the masterpiece it is. Judas Priest did a decent cover, but these thought of it & it shows. I'm not sure if the brothers have yet agreed on who wrote it, so we have to thank both I think. I've been in many bands myself & know what it's like, we could be in a pub & write some stuff down on a beermat
